Winemaker notes
For the first time, Symbiose Red blends Sakar’s signature Merlot with the local Mavrud variety. The wine combines Merlot from our Shishmanovo vineyard and Mavrud from a small vintner in Kapitan Andreevo. After over two years in the bottle, it develops beautifully without oak aging. It displays a ruby color, with aromas of red berries, black pepper, and dried tobacco. The medium-bodied palate offers smooth tannins, ripe red berries, and a finish of sweet and subtle spice.
