Winemaker notes
Grapefruit, which is mainly imparted by Cabernet.
For the forth harvest, Winery Bratanov works with international red varieties from its new vineyards in the Datarla area of the village of Shishmanovo, South Sakar. The vineyard was established in 2016, and here the soils are more clayey compared to those of the old vineyards in the Armutluka area. The wine is a “cépage” (varietals fermented together) of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah, picked on September 17. Fermentation took place with “wild” yeast (the natural microflora from the vineyard).
The wine is not stabilized in the cold – the appearance of a harmless crystalline precipitate is possible.
Produced in a limited quantity of 4,066 bottles.
