Can I visit the cellar of Bulgarian Wine House and browse your inventory in person
We are not the typical wine shop; the majority of inventory is in temperature controlled cellar and not available for causal perusing. Bulgarian Wine House lists entire stock of wines in real time, giving online access at your convenience.
What are your hours of operation?
The office of Bulgarian Wine House is open Monday and Thursday from 10:00 to 17:00, Friday and Saturday 11:00 to 16:00. Our office is closed on Sunday and national holidays.
How do I know this bottle was properly stored?
Wine is and remains a natural product. Although Bulgarian Wine House as a wine importer strives for quality wines and consistent quality, this cannot always be guaranteed. Certainly not in the case of the climate change that is omnipresent. This certainly affects all wines. Bulgarian Wine House’s owner therefore try to have tasted every harvest year in advance. This prevents surprises.

Do you offer case discounts?
The following graduated discounts apply to the stated gross prices: when purchasing from 60 bottles: 4% when purchasing from upwards 60 bottles: 8%

Delivery
What courier do you use for deliveries?
Bulgarian Wine House uses PostNL to send all of orders.
How long does delivery take?
The orders generally take between 1-3 working days to arrive. A delivery within province Utrecht usually takes 1-2 working days.
How much is delivery?
We only charge what it costs us to ship your wine, so discounts on shipping are not available. Our website provides quotes on shipping directly from PostNL based on the number of bottles and your shipping zip code. To get the best possible per-bottle price on shipping, customers should ship in increments of 12. We are happy to hold and combine multiple orders until you have a 12 bottle case ready to ship. Can I track my item?
Yes. You will be sent a confirmation email as soon as your order has been processed. This email will also contain your tracking number.
Do you deliver to my country?
We currently ship only to the Netherlands.

Payment
What does pre-arrival mean?
Bulgarian Wine House purchases occasionally wines from wineries which may not arrive for 30 to 120 days. We arrange month shipments via groupage freight. If you purchase a pre-arrival wine, we will contact you via e-mail upon arrival to arrange delivery.

Which payment methods do you accept?
Payment could be made by bank transfer. We currently accept all relevant credit and debit cards including Visa and Mastercard.
What currencies can I use?
We accept payment in Euros only.

Returns
My wine was damaged in transit, how do I get this resolved?
BGwinehouse.nl is unable to accept returns.
Bulgarian Wine House specializes in the sale of wines commonly referred to “as-is” with a buyer beware caveat. “Caveat emptor” is a Latin expression that means “let the consumer beware.” Like the phrase “sold as is,” it emphasizes that the customer accepts the risk.
Although we make a best effort to identify and verify provenance, we cannot accept flawed or spoiled wine or returns a value for any reason for wines more than five years old. If you have a specific refund request, please contact us at 06-8277-4032.
How do I return an item?
Return shipments without our written permission cannot be processed. Only current wines in original packaging can be accepted.
Who pays for return postage?
Goods that are returned after written permission from us will be credited with a deduction of € 0.25 ex VAT per bottle. In addition, € 17.50 ex VAT return costs will be charged.
Can you confirm you have received my return?
We aim to process returns within 2 working days of receiving them. You will be notified by email once the returns process is complete.
